Do hydrocodone and acetaminophen HP tablets have side effects?

While taking hydrocodone-acetaminophen HP tablets you may experience dizziness, drowsiness, nausea or vomiting. You may also become constipated or experience anxiety, mood swings, blurry vision, ringing in your ears or dry mouth. If these side effects don't go away or get worse, contact your doctor. Also, let your doctor know right away if you experience any of the following side effects, as they may be signs of a medical emergency: signs of an allergic reaction, such as hives or an itchy rash, shallow breathing or a slow heartbeat; fainting or feeling lightheaded; feeling confused or suffering irrational fear or unusual thoughts; seizures or convulsions; difficulty urinating; or signs of liver damage, including severe nausea or stomach pain, yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine or extreme fatigue.  Call 911 for signs of an allergic reaction: difficulty breathing, chest tightness, swelling of the mouth, lips, tongue or throat.
