I think honesty really is the key, because if you're not honest, and if we're not honest with you, which we should be, we can't fix things.

So I love talking about the doctor-patient relationship because I think it's really one of the most important that there is.
Your doctor really should be your confidant. And I think one of the best ways to improve that relationship with your doctor is to be honest with your doctor.
And that honesty should go sort of 360 in a way, not just being honest about your meds that you're taking
and things like that, but also how you're feeling, about your health, about your treatment plan, about what's being prescribed.
[DOWNTEMPO MUSIC] You have an honest, open communication with your doctor as you're going through the medical process with them.
That's really going to help you both have a good, open relationship and really sort of establish the best, you know, doctor-patient relationship
that's possible. [DOWNTEMPO MUSIC] I think honesty really is the key, because if you're not
honest, and if we're not honest with you, which we should be, we can't fix things. We can't change things. We can't make your prescriptions cheaper
so that you can afford them or fix the medication that might be causing you the side effect if we didn't know, et cetera.
So be honest with us. Tell us what's going on. Tell us what you like and what you don't like. It's probably the best thing you can do. [DOWNTEMPO MUSIC]
