If you have diabetes, you should have a complete eye exam. Which means starts with vision, and intraocular pressure, and goes all
the way through glasses and dilation. And to be sure that there's no problems developing in the back of the eye. The diabetics have
a lot of problems with retina, where the retina will get hemorrhages or little strokes, or even bleeding in the back of the eye, and
sometimes even new blood vessels. We wanna pick that up early so that we can stop it before it progresses on. As near as 30 years
ago, there was a lot of loss of vision from diabetes. But now with our new modern technologies and techniques, we pick up early stages
of diabetes, and we can treat that with a lot of the new medicines, and some of the laser treatments that can be done. So we don't
lose vision, and lose eyes like it used to be done back in the 50s or even the 60s.
