Combination skin is what I see most often in my office.
Combination skin is where you have a T-zone. You have the oiliness on your forehead, on your nose. And patients tend to get a little bit dry on their ears,
on their cheeks, and around their mouth. So you want to look for ingredients that contain glycerides. Glycerides will cleanse the skin.
It will also hydrate the skin without stripping it of its natural oils. You do want to follow that-- again, I sound like a broken record-- but with an SPF.
There are so many different SPFs on the market now. For patients with oily skin, it's really simple and easy now because most of the labeling says for oily skin.
You want to look for an SPF that's non-comedogenic and that's made for combination skin or oily skin.
