Patients will suffer with heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, urinary frequency. And so in the vast majority of these women,
all of these symptoms will be significantly improved or completely resolved. Uterine fibroid embolization is much safer than surgery.
It's much less invasive than surgery. The recovery is much shorter than surgery.
And importantly, you get to keep your uterus, which is rather undervalued by a lot of physicians.
So women come into the center. They go home the same day with a Band-Aid at the top of the right leg where we go in.
The recovery is much shorter, a matter of five days versus weeks for surgery. And as I say, it's less expensive, less invasive, less
recovery time, and, the most important, she gets to keep her uterus. [AUDIO LOGO]
