Now fat is not a four letter worse, fat is not only good for you, it's essential for life. We get certain fats from foods that your body needs to be healthy and survive we call this essential fatty acids, and the general approach to fat is somewhere between 20 and 25% of your calories should be from fat. Well most of us don't know what that means in real life, so you just want the fats you eat in your day to be the healthier fats.

These are fats that are liquid at room temperature like olive oil, canola oil, great seed oil, peanut, sesame oil those are actually really good for you and foods that have healthy fats like avocados, nuts, seeds, fish and soy they have healthy fats, those are also really good for you. Now whether it's a good fat or a bad fat, the bad fats being butter and cheese and lard and bacon.

They still have the same number of calories. If you won't want to go overboard with either of them, but it is good for you and it's fun to cook with fat and it makes food taste good just don't use the whole bottle of olive oil.
