A lot of people tend to reach for foods like alcohol, caffeine, simple silver stink candy, refined carbs, think cookies, cakes, pies and processed foods think things in a box frozen meals, frozen pizza that are latent with all manner of other nutrients they do just the opposite.
So instead reaching for these because these are the foods that leave you feeling more stressed, more anxious and more tired, you want to go with complex carbs. Foods rich in vitamin C and and foods rich in triptifane and omega 3 fatty acids. The process end of the spectrum is what is going to leave you feeling, that's going to elevate your bad feelings, your stressful feelings and your feelings of anxiety.
So the very things that people tent to reach for to alleviate stress help to prolong their stride.
