You already know the health benefits of starting your day with oatmeal. In this video, naturopathic doctor Pina LoGiudice explains why you might also want to end your day with a steamy, creamy bowl of it.
I love oatmeal it's truly one of my favorite foods all around just because oatmeal itself is a high fiber content which is great for lowering cholesterol but what most people don't know since they think of oatmeal as a breakfast food, is I recommend it as a night time snack because oatmeal is what's called a nervine.
And what the nervine does is that it relaxes the nervous system and eases tension, it also has a good amount of [xx] as well as melatonin, so all around oatmeal is a great choice for a night time snack, and what you want to do is take anywhere from a quarter to a half cup before bed, and you'll go right to slumber time.
