I do think supplements are necessary in a healthy diet and most patients will come in and say, I do eat pretty clean, I eat organical foods do I still need to take a multivitamin? And I do tell my patients that multivitamin supplementation is important because, unfortunately, our soils even though you're eating all clean and organic and whole foods within our soils in terms of the minerals and the vitamins are not there any more, so unfortunately as we go through a more stressful life and we do have more of environmental burden on us and our vitamin depletion goes through more quickly taking general very good quality multivitamin is essential to a daily diet.
