Almond milk has healthy ingredients including magnesium, calcium, minerals and protein, and it's a fantastic substitute for dairy milk in many recipes and meals. Watch functional medicine expert Mark Hyman, MD, describe the benefits of almond milk.
I love almond milk, especially if you make it yourself and that's easy to do, which is you soak almonds overnight and then you put them in a blender with some water and voila! you got Almond milk. You can also buy it over the counter at grocery stores and it's great because it is another source of dairy like product without the dangers and it contain magnesium and calcium and minerals.
This is a great source of little extra protein and it's something that you use instead of milk in your cooking or in cereals or whatever you are eating for breakfat.
