Isn't this great news? Dark chocolate is actually healthy for you. Now, I mean specifically dark chocolate like bittersweet chocolate. So you want to look for something that's least 70% cocoa content. That means there's going to be a lot less sugar and no dairies. So that's what you want to look for.

Now cocoa, otherwise known as cacao. It's a super-food. It's one of the best things you can do for yourself, and I would recommend eating a half an ounce of dark chocolate everyday. It's really good for your health. It has something called flavonoids in it. Which increases the elasticity in your blood vessels.

So that's good for the circulation that's going to your heart, and it's also good for the circulation going to your brain. So it improves your cognitive function. So when you're looking for chocolate you can get a nice bittersweet bar of chocolate, have maybe two squares, or you can get something called cocoa nibs which are just a little cocoa beans themselves, and throw them in a smoothie or mix them into a salad or anything like that.

But half about a half an ounce a day and it's really good for your longevity and it's good for your waist line because it's a low calorie snack and it doesn't boost your blood sugar. So you are going to have a very even killed insulin response. So it's an excellent snack when you are trying to watch your weight.
