How Are Uterine Fibroids Diagnosed?

Uterine fibroids are most commonly diagnosed by your doctor. Either it's by pelvic exam or a surprise when you have either an operation like a cesarean section. Most of the time patients don't even realize that they have fibroids, but it's a very, very common finding. Sometimes also you can also detect them on a CAT scan or you can also detect with a pelvic sonography.
