How Can We Satisfy Sudden Food Cravings In a Healthy Way?

Food cravings come on for many different reasons, many of the times it's just a craving at that and we have to ask ourselves many times do I really want it? In our clinic we sometimes use something called really, really, really do I really, really, really want to eat it? Other times we work on something that we call urge surfing, so when you first get hungry your appetite is low and over the next few minutes it increases and if you wait somewhere between 10 and 15 minutes that urge goes back right down, it's a good time to drink a bottle of water, occupy yourself with something else for just a few minutes and if you still have an urge to eat at that point you should find something that's healthy to eat.
