Yeast overgrowth is when yeast overgrows in your gut so basically in our intestines we have a balance of good bacteria possibly some bad bacteria and when those get out of balance, things like yeast can overgrow. Typical causes of that are taking antibiotics is probably the number one cause of that.

Certain medications like acid blocking medications can obviously block your stomach acid and allow yeast to overgrow. Things like alcohol, sugar and a high carbohydrate diet also causes skin dryness or yeast overgrowth.
