Hi, I'm Barbara Ficarra. Are you a tea lover? if you drink a lot of tea, it could be helping you grow younger, five years younger in fact. When researchers in China looked at the sales of tea drinkers, they found that people who drank more than three cups of tea, showed about five pure use of wear and tear than the cells of people who drink less than a cup a day.

To check cell ageing, researchers looked at the telemeres, these are the protected caps on the ends of your DNA string. They're like plastic coverings at the end of your shoe laces. Every time cells divide, they get a smidging shorter. So the shorter these caps are, the older your cells are too. And in a study, the most avid tea drinkers had significantly longer telemeres than those who didn't drink much tea.

Researchers think that antioxidant in tea helped keep telomeres long, that may help fight diseases like cancer and diabetes that tend to damage cells. So put the kettle on, for more easier ways to nourish your health, watch all our smart tips right here.
