Just the diagnosis of multiple sclerosis is always associated with shock, depression, denial, anger, usually getting upset, because you see disability, you see your life being ceased away, at an age when you're just looking to conquer the world, so to speak, a 20-year old. But it also, so with good treatment, and understanding you can overcome that.

The other problem is cognition dysfunction which affects about 50% of patients with multiple sclerosis, and that has to be looked at independently, and is increasingly being recognized as a bigger problem as physical disability with MS, and it should be addressed independently of the physical disability that can occur in the disease.
