Hi, Dr. Kevin Soden here with some easy nutrition advice. If you're confused by dietary guidelines, you're not alone. According to one survey 52% of Americans think it's easier to do taxes than shop for groceries. Here's some simple dietary guidelines to help you loose weight and belly fat. Skip foods with added sugars or added syrups.

When possible avoid artificial sweetness too, they lie to your appetite control system and can lead to weight gain. Choose 100% whole grains, your guts, immune system and heart will thank you. Eat slowly so you can tell when you're full then stop, eat often four to six times a day to prevent hunger, hunger leads to over eating which is bad for your heart and certain to trigger weight gain.
