Dr. Ruth Politi, MSN


I earned my PhD as an International Health Educator and Researcher from TUI University in 2009. I also hold a MSN and BSN from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). I earned a post-Master's Certificate in Bioethics from the University of Nevada Reno (UNR). I also earned a Certificate as a Nurse Educator (CNE) in 2011. I have been a faculty member at Walden University since January 2009. I was the Nursing Coordinator for an Accelerated BSN Program and alsoserved as a Graduate Coordinator for a MSN Program. I currently serve as the Secretary for the Zeta Kappa Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau. I have presented at the local level on healthcare ethics and organizational issues related to nurse retention. I have presented at the national level on the use of simulation in nursing education. My publications are in the areas of diabetes management,simulation in nursing, and organizational commitment.
