If you're starting to lose that energy and you're feeling that you're about to crash through your depression, again, inform your partner
and let them know what it is that you're feeling. [UPBEAT MUSIC]
If you have bipolar disorder, the better way to communicate with your partner is letting them know when you are beginning
to feel a little bit different. When you are starting to hit that manic phase, it's important that you get some help
because you will at some point be so far above as far as energy level and feelings of superiority that you
won't be able to communicate with your partner. If you're starting to lose that energy and you're feeling that you're about to crash
through your depression, again, inform your partner and let them know what it is that you're feeling.
If you are a partner to someone who has bipolar disorder, the most important thing that you can do is to make sure that you keep
your patience with that individual because remember, it is a mental illness. And secondly, and most importantly,
get them to a doctor right away, especially if they're not getting that treatment.
Grab them by the hand and take them to the physician and/or psychologist to make sure that they're getting help.
