What is ionized water?

Ionized water is water that has been treated to increase the pH. Electricity is used to treat the water and 'ionize' it. Ionization is a process in which particles (electrons or other ions) are added or removed from the molecule or atom.

Ionized water has a negative charge after it has been treated. Prior to investing in a water filtration system that ionizes water, be sure to research the claims and rebuttals to these claims so you can make a decision based upon your understanding of ionized water.
