If your baby has a mild illness, it's likely that he can still get the rotavirus vaccine. However, infants who are moderately or severely ill (including those who have moderate or severe diarrhea or vomiting) should probably wait until they get better. Talk with your baby’s doctor to see if it’s okay for him to get the vaccine or if you should wait until he is well again.
