What may my doctor have me do during a bladder training program?

Before starting a bladder training program, you should discuss the program with your doctor. He or she may be able to tell you if the techniques will help your overactive bladder. Your doctor may also recommend a combination of treatment options. For instance, some people find that a bladder training program works better when they also take overactive bladder medications.
