For men and women dealing with overactive bladder, it may be helpful to schedule toilet trips. This is also called timed urination. This method involves only going to the bathroom when the clock says it’s time. You don’t go when you get the urge, which can help train your bladder. Typically, these toilet trips are scheduled every two to four hours.
