What are passive range of motion (ROM) exercises for the forearm and wrist?

The following exercises can be performed with your arms on a table. Hold just below your wrist with one of your hands. Hold your hand with your other hand.

To perform a passive ROM for the forearm, first hold the wrist and hand of your right arm with the palm face down. Keeping your elbow on the table, lift the forearm up. Hold the hand and bend it back toward the wrist. Then bend the hand down only until you feel resistance. Rock the hand back and forth sideways. Gently rotate the hand in smooth circles.

To perform a passive ROM for the wrist, first keep your elbow and forearm on the table and raise your hand. Gently twist it so your palm is up. Then twist it so your palm is down.
