There are a number of home remedies for rashes that may be worth a try. A compress soaked in milk and water (half and half) can help reduce inflammation. Some also recommend soaking in a bath that includes a half cup of baking soda. Supplements and medications that show antirash promise include witch hazel to cool and soothe skin, or meds (lotions and creams) containing coal tar to relieve itching.
