Does soap cause dry skin?

Some soaps can remove naturally occurring oils from the skin, which can cause it to feel dry. If you have a problem with dry skin, choosing the right skin care products will help. Use a mild soap or non-soap cleanser that contains moisturizers. Avoid skin cleansers that contain alcohol, fragrances, deodorants, and antibacterial ingredients. You can also keep your skin from drying out by avoiding long, hot baths or showers.
