How is shoulder trauma treated?

You can treat shoulder trauma either with therapy, surgery or a combination.

Shoulder injuries like bursitis, rotator cuff tears, and tendonitis are common across all age groups, from young athletes to older adults. However, many people don't see a doctor because they fear surgery. For most of the problems in the shoulder, doctors would prefer to try more conservative or non-invasive measures before resorting to a surgical procedure. These might range from anti-inflammatory medications, physical therapy and cortisone injections. More often than not, those can be things that are curative.
