Do sensory-related developmental disabilities affect boys and girls?

Sensory related developmental disabilities affect both boys and girls.  However, depending on the overall cause of issue, they may affect them differently.  For example, if the disabilities are associated with genetic conditions related to the sex chromosomes, they may affect boys and girls in very different ways.
