Who should take Megace?

If you have advanced breast or endometrial cancer, Megace (megestrol) may be a good way to treat the symptoms of your disease. People experiencing lack of appetite, weight loss and malnutrition due to acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), may also receive Megace to treat these symptoms. Be sure to tell your doctor all the medications that you currently take, if you will soon have surgery, if you have diabetes or if you have ever had a stroke, adrenal gland problems, a blood clot or kidney or liver disease.
