What side effects are there with ciprofloxacin-dexamethasone?

Ciprofloxacin-dexamethasone ear drops, or Ciprodex®, can cause side effects in some people. If you experience any of these side effects and they do not go away, stop taking the medication and call your doctor: itching, pain, or discomfort in or around your ear; allergic reactions, such as rash, hives, swelling of the throat, tongue, lips, eyes, hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs; problems breathing; problems swallowing; hoarseness in your voice.
