Who should take Opana?

Take Opana if you are an adult who needs constant relief from moderate or severe pain for an extended period of time.

Only take Opana if you do not suffer from any breathing problems, as Opana can make breathing problems worse.

If you have or previously had issues with alcohol use and abuse, talk to your doctor before taking Opana.

If you have had surgery within the last few days, stop taking Opana for a period. Wait to resume or begin taking Opana as directed to your doctor.
