What should I tell to my pharmacist about before I take fentanyl?

Tell your pharmacist about any drug allergies you may have and all the medications you take including over-the-counter medications, vitamins, dietary supplements, and medicinal herbs. Fentanyl may interact with many other drugs, so be thorough. Be sure to specifically tell your pharmacist if you take other pain medications, antifungal medications, medications for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) , nefazodone, verapamil, or antibiotics.
