What should I avoid while taking Aleve (naproxen)?

When taking Aleve, you should avoid taking other medications, especially over-the-counter cold and allergy medications. Do not take other pain relievers, including aspirin, ketoprofen, and ibuprofen, because the combination may lead to overdose.

Alcohol increases the risk of stomach bleeding in individuals who take Aleve. You should consult a doctor if you regularly consume three alcoholic beverages daily.
