How does Celebrex interact with other medications or foods?

You should not take certain antidepressants with Celebrex due to an increased risk of easy bruising or bleeding. Taking ACE inhibitors (a class of drugs to treat heart and blood pressure problems), blood thinners, other drugs to treat heart conditions, diuretics (water pills), lithium, furosemide or fluconazole may also increase your risk of adverse interactions. Talk to your doctor to see if you can continue to take regular doses of aspirin to protect against heart attack while you are on Celebrex. Drinking alcohol while on Celebrex may increase your risk of stomach bleeding.
