How does orphenadrine work for muscle pain?

Orphenadrine relieves muscle pain by relaxing tight muscles. It is usually taken by mouth but can be injected into an injured muscle, though it may also be injected into a vein. When the affected muscles relax, spasms may lessen, allowing you to move normally and relieving pain and stiffness.

Orphenadrine is often used in conjunction with over-the-counter anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen. Physical therapy and rest may help injured muscles heal while using orphenadrine.
