Are there support groups for families of veterans with psychosis?

Families of veterans can locate support groups for military-related health issues through the Department of Veterans Affairs Vet Centers and VA medical facilities. Other places to inquire include community mental health centers, state hospital psychiatric departments and outpatient clinics, social service agencies, universities or medical schools with mental health programs, and religious organizations. The Internet is also a good source of information on support groups of all kinds. Search under veterans, support groups, support for caregivers, and also under the name of the condition your veteran has (“schizophrenia+support groups,” etc.).
