Does granulomatosis with polyangiitis affect children differently than adults?

Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA), formerly known as Wegener's granulomatosis, is a very uncommon condition, especially in children. However, when it occurs in children, it does not affect them differently than adults. Children with symptoms of GPA should see a doctor as soon as possible.
