Are moringa supplements safe for pregnant or nursing women?

Moringa supplements may not be safe for pregnant women. Although eaten as food in some parts of the world, moringa has also been used medicinally to prevent pregnancy. It has been known to induce abortion in some cases. It is not recommended for pregnant women. There is also not enough evidence to consider it safe for breastfeeding women.
