Who is most at risk for a hair disorder?

Because there are various types of hair disorders, it would depend on the form of the disorder to determine who is most at risk. For instance, if you had a malignant tumor you may be at risk for a hair disorder. If your are taking medication that has been known to cause hair disorders, you may be at risk. Hair disorders caused by polycystic ovary syndrome would affect women more than men. Male pattern baldness puts men more at risk for the disorder. Additionally, women who are postmenopausal would be more at risk for female pattern baldness.
