What are possible side effects of solifenacin (VESIcare)?

Call your doctor immediately if you experience serious side effects of solifenacin (VESIcare), including painful urination, stopped urination, stomach pain or constipation that lasts for more than three days, severe thirst and hot, dry skin.

Less serious common side effects of solifenacin succinate include: blurry vision, dry eyes and mouth, mild nausea or constipation, dizziness, fatigue, weakness, and flu-like symptoms. Call your doctor if these become bothersome.

In rare cases, you may have an allergic reaction to the drug. Seek immediate medical attention if you have symptoms of an allergic reaction, an itchy rash or hives,  Call 911 for difficulty breathing and swelling in your face, lips, tongue or throat.
