Estrace vaginal cream is only intended for vaginal use. A special applicator will be provided. Wash your hands, as well as the applicator, before and after use. Report any unusual vaginal bleeding right away while you are taking Estrace. Vaginal bleeding after menopause may be a warning sign of cancer of the uterus (womb). Your healthcare provider should check any unusual vaginal bleeding to find out the cause. There is a risk for breast cancer, stroke or heart attack after long use of Estrace vaginal cream. Regular checkups and breast exams are important.
