Is uterine cancer life-threatening?

If left untreated, uterine cancer is life-threatening. However, if you report any symptoms to your doctor as soon as they arise, you can catch and treat uterine cancer in one of its early stages. Many people fully recover from uterine cancer if it is treated before it spreads to the lymph nodes in stage 3. Once cancer spreads beyond the uterus treatment is more difficult.
