Before administering the full dose of SecreFlo, your doctor may give you a test dose to ensure that you are not allergic to SecreFlo. This is more commonly performed on people with asthma or atopic allergies.
You should not receive SecreFLo if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as SecreFlo may harm the fetus or may be transmitted via breast milk.
You should not receive SecreFlo if you have an acute case of pancreatitis. It is also possible that this enzyme might not work well in people who have had vagotomy (an operation which lowers stomach acids), are taking anticholinergics and other diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease.
