In general we board-certified plastic surgeons do not operate on patients under the age of 18, except for a few exceptions. Rhinoplasty surgery may be performed on patients under 18 for both cosmetic and functional reasons. Congenital breast deformities and hypertrophy may require early teenage surgery including breast reduction and breast reconstruction.
