How should I take glyburide and metformin?

Glyburide and metformin is to be taken orally and exactly as directed. Make sure you take this medicine with food. Your doctor will test your blood sugar to monitor the effectiveness of glyburide-metformin, as well as your kidney function. Talk to your doctor if you are taking glyburide and metformin but continue to experience symptoms of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) or high blood sugar (hyperglycemia).
