The most serious side effects of selegiline are headache, confusion, blurry vision, imbalance, nausea, chest pain, seizure, and sudden weakness. Selegiline can also cause hallucinations, lightheadedness, restlessness, twitchiness, irritability, and difficulty urinating. You should call a doctor if you experience any of the above problems. Other side effects include insomnia, flu-like symptoms, back pain, constipation, mouth sores, and ulcers. Allergic reactions are also possible.
