Who should not use the Asmanex Twisthaler?

No one under four years of age should use the Asmanex Twisthaler (mometasone powder). Never use the Asmanex Twisthaler if you're having an asthma attack; you need to use rescue medication. Don't use the drug if you've ever had an allergic reaction to mometasone powder. Avoid using it if you're also taking corticosteroids, seizure medications or ketoconazole.

Make sure to tell your doctor any medications you're on.  Pregnant and breastfeeding women should discuss the safety of using this drug with their doctors. You may not be able to use this drug if you have an active infection or a recent vaccine, glaucoma, cataracts, osteoporosis or eczema.
