What is Spiriva?

Spiriva (tiotropium) is an inhaler known as a bronchodilator and used to treat wheezing, coughing and shortness of breath. People with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema or bronchitis who have the above symptoms, may use Spiriva. It expands the lung's air passages to make breathing easier.
