How soon after taking Spiriva will my symptoms improve?

Spiriva (tiotropium) typically opens the air passages right away. Within one hour you should notice a big difference with improved  breathing. Once inhaled, Spiriva keeps working for 24 hours. However, Spiriva does not work quickly enough to treat a bronchospasm attack. If you are having an attack, use a rescue inhaler.
