Can my husband drink beer if he is taking Xolair?

Your husband should not drink beer or any other alcoholic beverages while taking Xolair (also known as omalizumab). Xolair may make him feel dizzy, and alcohol can increase the dizziness. Your husband should also avoid driving or doing other things that require him to be alert while taking Xolair until he knows how Xolair is going to affect him.
